Glue-Art & Paper Studio DT project...

I love all the projects I do for Glue-Art & Paper Studio, but this has got to be at least my 2nd favorite(the first being the cupcake stand for my girls!) work of art! This 4 section wood stand starts out as a plain jane platform and I knew right away I wanted it to have crystal feet. I bought the "feet" at Home Depot and they are actually door knobs, but I just left the silver screw out and glued them on with E6000 glue. The PP is from American Craft and I just trimmed and modpodged it on. The brown satin ribbon is from SU!My sister totally gets credit for the "glasses" idea, however, for all the wrong reasons...they ARE NOT shot glasses(although it could be an option)....LOL!! I had shared my project with her, but left out the details on my fabulous CANDLE HOLDERS! I purchased the candle holders at Mike's and used Martha Stewart Rub-ons for a border along the tops. I love the way rub-ons look and appeal to the masses, but the "masses" I am not! I tried very carefully to get these things on without rubbing them off with my free-fingers...there is a reason why I did not post a close-up of the rub-ons...lol I'm convinced they are only "flawless" for Martha herself....lol I went for a simple, but elegant look by using my Papertrey Ink Monogram Set and added some Amuse Twinkle stickles for some bling. This candle set could be used for a really cool table setting and when the shower is over, each guest can take home a beautiful candle in tow.

Check out what the rest of the Glue-Art & Paper Studio Design Team is cooking up!

AWESOME!!! I love the feet. I bought some wooden balls to use as feet, but I am going to have to re-think that one now. ;)
