Feeling Inspired...Times 2!!

These yellow beauties were inspired by THIS CARD by Debbie Olson. To create the light blue back round, I used my B000 copic maker and colored it in while the still in the nesty die. This method of background coloring can be a little tricky as the copic ink can bleed out underneath the die. This happened a few times with me, so I think it will be worth my time and investment to purchase some air cans!
Maybe its the rain, but I have been super inspired to get crafting this week. I have all my projects done that I will post this week...this almost NEVER happens! Anyhoo, these cards were inpsired by Michelle Wooderson's sketch. I just recevied my new Papertrey Ink "Garden of Life" set. I'm finding these a little hard to use...except for the rose stamp...which totally reminded me of the some Chatterbox rose paper(I will post the notebook on Wednesday) I've been hoarding. These cards are just a single piece of cs cut to the standard A2 size. I cut the white cs 1/4 inch smaller to have a nice clean colored border. The strips in the middle are 4 inches long and 1 inch wide...you can make them wider/smaller depending on the size of your stamped image. I then cut them out with my nesty circle dies for added dimension.

When the sets were all finished, I packaged them with clear envies, tied with ribbon and slipped the large paper clip thru the ribbon itself. These came together so nice and simple and would make for an easy gift to keep on hand.
