It hasn't quite arrived just yet in NY, but I'm MORE than ready for it! This was a cute card I did with my sis this past week. My postings have been beyond sparse because she was in town visiting me and we also made a short road trip to Boston:) Needless to say, I'm itching to do some more crafting soon! Supplies include: Edgy Eloquence stamp set, Label Classics stamp set, PP(not sure of brand), CM cs, faux chipboard on the flowers, 3-D glue dots to pop up the flowers, white gel pen for border, rhinestones, brads, and M's ribbon

For a dear friend...
I have a dear friend, Michelle, whom these lovely thank-you cards are for! Hopefully she is not "peeking" on my blog:) She is the #1 reason I got started in stamping...all by showing me this silly catalog one night...lol She no longer is a "hop and skip" away, but her friendship is very dear to me! Love you girl! I'm sending her a little box of goodies soon and this was the last thing to finish up so I could fill the package. Supplies include: Creative Memories CS, MM pp, M's ribbon, faux stitching, Letter Press stamp set, Itty Bitty BG, White craft ink, chocolate chip ink, and 3-D glue dots.

Central Park in the Fall...
Just a few snap shots of the family and I. It was a nice crisp day in Central Park so we decided to pack the kiddos(currently preggers with no. 2 at this time, although we didn't know it yet:) up and take them for a pinic. To say the Park is BIG would be an understatement! It even has a Zoo inside...although I've heard its not worth the money...lol I enjoyed capturing pictures of Gracie running the Fall leaves and picking up every stick in sight(she is the son we don't yet have...lol).
This is how is ALL started!
I never much thought of paper crafting...of any kind...until I went to my first Creative Memories party in 03'. My hubby was deployed to Iraq so I had plenty of free time(pre-kids of course...lol) in the evenings. A gf called me up and asked me if I wanted to go(her hubby was deployed also) with, so I obliged:) It only took one class and I was hooked!! Almost a year later I became a CM consultant and continued for a little over a year. It introduced me to a whole new world and I started looking at my photographs more often! I then moved to NY and decided I just wanted to scrap for myself and no longer wished to be a consultant...same day I deactivated a new friend(armywife2sam)showed me a StampinUP! catty...HOOKED again...lol As they say...the rest is history:) I finally had the "urge" to do some scrapping. I have not done this in soo long...well since, finding stamps...lol My scrapping adventures had been on the back burner since diving into my new hobby of stamping. I have to say though, it has been a nice break and I feel refreshed! Year 05' album is nearly completed...woohoo! I jump around alot when I scrap...like to break it up so I don't get bored. The journaling is saved for last, probably on a night when its quiet(no kids at my ankles...lol) and I can put pen to paper and it be thoughtful:) I finished approx. 10 pages in the last two days, so it'll probably be another few months before I go at it again...lol This is my oldest, Gracie...she is now a BIG 3!

Little Lady...
Sweet little lady bug! I used Very Punny again...its such a versatile set! And of course I had to try out my new Textile Cuttlebug folder on the red CS. The center lady bug is backed on silver CS punched with my CM circle punches, and popped up with dimensionals. M's ribbon holds down the sentiment. Too cute!

Altered Prima Tins...
Having some more fun! These are the Prima tins that hold the "forever flowers" line. It only took one look and I knew it had more than one use:) The tins have a rough sanding on them so the paper and modpodge get a nice and rough surface to stick to. I used Flair design PP, Cuttlebug flowers folder, CM green CS(its stamped in Old Olive with Fresh Fillers bg stamp. And for an added touch I used a rhinestone on the flower. The flowers are raised on chipboard I cut with the Cuttlebug as well. I love that it also has the see-thru lid, but I'm not sure what I'm going to fill it with just yet!

Baby pocket notes...
I'm BACK!! I have been out of town with my family on some R&R. We decided to take the kiddos to Canada to visit Niagara Falls. It is exceptionally cold up there this time of year, but the upside is that you don't have the crowds and long lines to fight! I have also been away from my craft corner so I was itching to get busy with my paper tonight:) These cute pocket notes were just what I wanted to do. It seems everyone is "with baby" right now, so I thought I'd make these cards to have on hand. They are perfect to slip in with the gifts. Cardstock is StampinUp!, patterned paper is Junkitz, and Target brads. It was hard not to add too many embellishments, but I wanted to keep them clean and simple. I also have some cute altered Prima tins finished so you will have to tune in to tomorrows post:)

Cuddly baby blanket...
I did this cuddly blanket for a friends new baby. I thought the material was fitting since they are a Navy family and they have a new son. I had done a previous prototype(on a much smaller scale!), but wanted to go for the BIG one! I'm really pleased with how it turned out. My sewing machine probably needs a tune up with all the projects I've done the last few years. She was a little squeeky tonight, but got the job done:) I'm not big on sewing anything rounded, but I can sew a mean straight stitch...lol So what do you think?
