Feeling Inspired...Times 2!!

Maybe its the rain, but I have been super inspired to get crafting this week. I have all my projects done that I will post this week...this almost NEVER happens! Anyhoo, these cards were inpsired by Michelle Wooderson's sketch. I just recevied my new Papertrey Ink "Garden of Life" set. I'm finding these a little hard to use...except for the rose stamp...which totally reminded me of the some Chatterbox rose paper(I will post the notebook on Wednesday) I've been hoarding. These cards are just a single piece of cs cut to the standard A2 size. I cut the white cs 1/4 inch smaller to have a nice clean colored border. The strips in the middle are 4 inches long and 1 inch wide...you can make them wider/smaller depending on the size of your stamped image. I then cut them out with my nesty circle dies for added dimension.

Friend Clipboards...

I had made a measurement error on my previous post about these clipboards...they are approx. 3/8 inch thick which makes it easy to adhere 3/8 ribbon around the edges. I find with the type of adhesive that I use, grosgrain ribbon works best. I wouldn't reccomend using a sheer ribbon as the adhesive would leak thru.
Supplies: SU! cs pixie pink, choco. chip
Ink: Dew Drops, SU! choco. chip
Accessories: mini clipboards(LCS), SU! satin ribbon, Prima's, MM brad, Mike's ribbon, 3-D adhesive, Nestibility Dies-Long rectangles & Ovals
Stamps: Papertrey Ink-Spiral Boquet, SU! polka dot bg

Teacher gifts...

When I'm using dark cardstock, I always use a simple piece of computer(cut a 1/4 smaller than my card) paper on the inside. This really helps cut down on the added bulk of the card and also allows you to use regular writing ink:)

Crafty Secrets & SFYTT(Jen Del Muro)

Anyhoo, the cards are pretty basic as I didn't want to add to much frill to a masculine card. The cardbase is PTI white select and PP is from Creative Memories. I used my nesty rectangle dies and added some Making Memories Silver brads. Ink is Dew Drops-Red Rocket and Black Stazon. Ribbon is May Arts.

Mini Monograms...
ETA: The mini clipboards come in a pack of 3 and I found mine at my LCS here in Brooklyn. They can also be found at A.C. Moore and I also saw them at Michael's yesterday in the wood crafting isle.
I was messing around with these mini clipboards and they are just big enough to add on a monogram. I may try and play some more with them and use my Crafty Secrets Stamps and maybe add on a cherub with fluttering wings! The DP is Doodlebug designs and I just modpodged it on for a nice seal. The ribbon is from Mikes and I used e6000 glue so it would stay on tight. I used my marvy scallop punch and PTI stamps for the monogram. The rhinestones(Micheal's) are glued on with Crystal Effects. When using CE be sure to only use a very small amount as it will bleed out on the ribbon if used in excess...don't ask me how I know!! Lastly, I also ran my clicker lighter(the long stem lighters for candles) ever so quickly over the edges of the ribbon to prevent fraying. This make take some time to practice, but as long as you go quickly you won't get that black burnt edge on the ribbon.
These are some more I had made up for a friend and she is going to monogram them as needed. This is also a great project to use up those little ribbon scraps:)
